Copy DVDs.

    Hey guys i have a DVD +/- RW does this mean i can read and write on both DVD-R and DVD+R discs? Thank you in advance.

    Thank you Emmet Brown. Would you recommend the DVD-R or DVD+R discs?

    I don't know of any real world difference between the two.
    The only thing to worry about maybe, is if you have an older dvd set top player. Some of them can't play the +r discs.

    If I remember correctly, the "+" standard was created to circumvent overly-restrictive licensing for the original "-" standard. That alone is reason to use the "+" standard; standards are supposed to be universal, otherwise they don't work.
