Man, just listening to those pigs interogating the guy.. automatically assuming that he is the badguy for shooting the "victim". All the questions to possibly trick the guy up when he very well may be in shock after just shooting a man.

Great example of why you shouldnt talk to the cops without your laywer present.

Just be polite, tell them you were in fear for your life, and explain that you will dont feel comfortable talking any furthur without your lawyer.

Pig - "why were you carring your gun?"

shooter - "I have a permit to carry"

Pig interrupts - "I have no problems with that, but why? Did you anticipate any problems?"

Shooter - "no, i carry it all the time"

Yea Pig, because we can all predict when something is gonna happen to endanger your life.

    lol, sorry for the hijack:o

Way to mkae general assumptions based on a video clip. at least 75% of the people in that area are felons. I can guarantee that there are more details to this clip than the clip shows, otherwise the guy wouldn't have been arrested. For one, he seemed like he had been drinking a bit. Also, it was probably drug related.

:fawk: I work in the neighborhood every day, and it is known as one of Las Vegas's highest drug areas. The reason the cop was askig about the gun is because it is not at all common in the area and the guy likely had a record.

I knew I would get a couple of responses..

Hooray for irony. indeed. My comments were about what i saw in the clip. Obviously there is more to the story. You, on the otherhand went a step further and ASSUMED that the guy was drinking and that the situation was drug related..
So, I guess if I was lost and my car brokedown in that neighborhood, and i had to walk to a gas station, and some guy tries to kill me and I shoot him, then it must be drug related and i must be drunk.. because "75% of that area are felons"

lol, i get that.. But thats what i mean, alotta cops use those figures like "9 out of 10 " or "75% are felons" to treat 100% of people like they are guilty.

The point is, since alotta cops assume you are guilty to begin with, your best option is to politely keep your mouth shut.

Someone should post that video where that guy talks about not talking to cops.
