someone please tell me the cooling system is in no way connected with the clutch operation. It has to be in my head.
I have this 87 accord and i think it has a slight overheating problem, so i drained the old coolant, ( which not has 3 layers of gunk in a milk jug ) because i have no idea when the last time it was done. Well, the clutch pedal was really easy to push down ( it was a little hard ) and the clutch engages smoother, wtf? I did spray some simple green around in the engine, maybe that freed something up :dunno:

is the clutch mechnical or hydralic? If mechnical and you cleaned the engine bay it's possible you just cleaned some junk off the cable. :dunno:
