I started a personal project back in November of 2006. The purpose of the project was to take pictures of the kids on a daily basis for my mom. She was diagnosed with non-hodgkins lymphoma and I can't risk having the germ buckets around her all the time since they're always sick. I've missed a few days here and there, but I've been pretty consistent and mom always enjoys the images. Cool story Hansel? :hs:

I've read enough about lighting to figure out how you're lighting most of these, but the detail in the highlights is amazing.

What are your desaturation methods used in some of the pictures? Same question with the saturation methods.

I use a couple different techniques, but my favorite is to create a duplicate layer, change the blending option, then fade. For saturating an image, its all done in Lightroom.

I'd say almost all are done with the 5d, and a variety of lenses (16-35, 24-70, and 50 1.4). Lighting is all speedlites (550+580EX). Hope that helps.
