 if any of my tables made me do this for them I would throw the napkin away.

haha, I'm just saying if I was busy I would see that, laugh, and throw it away because I don't feel like catering to that shit....then again if they actually told me they'd give me a $1 every time I'd do it :)

I'm curious how this would actually build attraction. What if the woman thought it was awesome, but then she saw you and thought you were a nerd or whatever and left. You're out the money you tipped the waittress. Oh wait, looks don't matter. n/m.

totally would depend on what sort of table it was, and what my read on them was.

chances are though, unless they are my priority table, i wouldn't do it. too much time for too little money.....and getting between two peoples personal business inst something i go for.

highly unlikely id be asked in the first place though.

but srsly thats kinda cool i guess. i wouldnt tip the waitress every time she comes back tho. i'd just give her a good tip in the end if she did it, and a shitty one if she didnt.

If a chick sent me a napkin with a chessboard and 'e3' written on it, I'd probably marry her.

    I thought its pretty interesting.

I don"t see why a waiter or waitress wouldn"t do it...it'll take like a minute to take the napkin and deliver it.

then it just depends on whether or not the girl does it.

i think this could work on a girl in a group or by herself

Because time is money in that job, and dropping off napkins with strange messages/drawings could conceivably affect the tip. Also, if the game got going, the waiter/waitress has better things to do than pass a napkin between 2 tables.

sounds pretty sweet too me.. its a easy way to start conversation with a girl in a resturant at a different table then just walking up randomly..

I would only use this on a girl in the resturant that you make eye contact with at somepoint and try to get some vibe if she thinks your cute. the tic tac toe game would be pointless if you walked up to the girl after and she didnt have any interest in you at all.

If the waiter/waitress attempted to deliver the note from me and it was rejected then I would leave a good enough tip that would make it worth her while. And I'm sure the waiter/waitress would expect this also.

Only downside I could see to this is if the manager finds out....they may not like it and give the waiter/waitress grief for it.

    define 'good enough'

chances are, what you think is a good tip, isn't what a server thinks is a good tip. :mamoru:
