What would cause my computer to lose cookies? Last night everything was fine, but this morning I had to log back into every website I've gone to that's needed it. What gives?

    1. Someone else used your computer
    2. Went to some :naughty: sites
    3. Deleted cookies to cover tracks?

    :dunno:

    1. No chance, unless someone broke into my home.
    2. Yes, but wouldn't have been the first time.
    3. Nope, they don't need covering.

    :sad2:

I was saying that is the order that something happened. One person did those three things.

You using IE? You may have stumbled onto something that erased them for you (this is a feature of IE - enjoy). Try using another browser and see if that helps.

This was the first time it happened to me, and it happened overnight when I wasn't even using the computer. I don't think I even had IE running. :dunno:

Just using IE could do this - the beauty of ActiveX is websites can run code on your computer whenever. Just because it wasn't running last night doesn't mean you picked up something 2 months ago or this morning.
