I need to convert a lot of these site.com/title.php to site.com/title/detail

Is there any way to do this with .htaccess or some type of script?

I've researched a little but but everything is more in lines of how to convert dynamically generated (ecommerce) URLs to shorter ones.

I just need to change URL of files that will stay the same name and not change.

The easiest way to achieve this but not the proper way would be to create the folder name and insert an index.php to it

so say you have site.com/title.php you can create a directory /title/ and insert index.php in there. It's not proper at all, but easy.
