Does anyone know how to convert a .mkv file to play on the 360? I tried using VisualHub and converting it to .wmv but the framerate is buggy and plays slow. Oh, and I'm using a mac. :x: Thanks.

a .mkv file usually is a 720p/1080p video file. i have children of men, howard the duck, and the goonies in .mkv form. although my macbook chokes when it tries to play them (shared video sucks), so i converted the .mkv file to a dvd using visualhub
you can convert the file to an mp4, avi, mpeg whatever using visualhub on a mac. i'm guessing your mac isn't up to the challenge though, if the output comes out all jumpy

:dunno: i guess try lowering the bitrate or try a different format, m$ products seem to like .wmv
