    a friend of mine is on this rant about getting a piston ar and i dont see the justification/need for one really

    if youve got a suppressed AR, it'll keep the gas from burning the fuck out of your eyes

    Gas piston AR for 1k, yes please.

    I'll take slightly more cleaning over slightly more recoil, though probably depends on model, I'd also rather have an sbr or a slightly better optic, etc

    I can't remember the source, but I recall a story in which a famous 'gun guy' was testing out one of the first piston AR setups...

    "That piston system works great! And by great, I mean it works as well as the $8 part it replaced"
