Consumer Gigabit switch?

    Looking for some recommendations on an unmanaged gig switch for home. I've read some decent reviews on D-link and Netgear product...anyone with any feedback?

    Ideally I'd like 8 ports. But if there's a better model with 5 then I would'nt have any issue with that.

    I've got the 5 port dlink one at home, it's been good for me.

    find a netgear older model in the blue metal chassis.

    Model? There's a few gig D-links i've seen around.

    I've been reading on the NETGEAR GS108...is there any in particular you recommend out of this lineup?

    GS108 is good.

    I love the JGS lineup but that's more than what you said you need.

    Best Buy sells these. They're not "older", they're higher-end.

    i have a netgear 5 port, one of the ones that is in white plastic. works great and matches my router, no complaints
