Is it possible for your muscles to be able to lift a weight, but not your bones? ie Is it possible for you to break your bones from lifting?

Unless you are a 14 year old anorexic ballerina then your bones should be able to hold whatever you lift.

i've heard of people getting forearm splints because the muscles arent enough and it stresses the bone... but i dont think that you have anything to worry about on a tricep press at as heavy as you'd be doing...

thats how its always happened with me... not necessarily preacher curls but curls in general... always stretch your forearms between each set and that should help...
