And I shed sapphires in hopes that he returns to top form and destroys the competition again like he used to.

I cry sapphires, bleed rubies and I dream in diamonds.

I watched him fight Wanderlei and Barnett this morning. Cro cop has a fetish for breaking people's orbital bones.

I'll still root for him though.

I've always liked him because he was never the best. He just WOULD win if he wanted it. He was always #2 to everyone.

I mean the guy was always #2 in kickboxing living at a time when some of the greatest fighters ever lived and was barely able to hold tight and yet, somehow he always managed to fight and sometimes he'd win. He has always shown heart and courage.

Even his transition to MMA, he has no real background in ground fighting and he still put down lil' nog. He's just a kickboxer who thought, "Well as long as I don't get on the ground..." And he... didn't. He willed himself to stay standing and striking.

He is so human and so flawed, yet is such a great character and fighter to follow because he is so awesome.

Also because he thinks stray dogs are frightening.

I would not go see a kick boxer to learn how to kick. If you want to learn how to kick, you go learn san shou or TKD or Kyokushin. Learning how to throw a telegraphing roundhouse is not learning how to kick.
