Just curious where you guys keep your weapon in your vehicle if you dont keep it on you. Do you have other holsters in your vehicles or what.

word. I've been thinking about building a special car holster rig in this same spot.

Extra mags are on my shift boot. :)

Do you have a holster affixed that keeps the gun in position, or do you just shove the gun in there?

Between the seat I got a holster that sucks for just about anything else but stays in there pretty good, if I put in the console I just put it in by itself.

Way to freak the fuck out of a cop if you get pulled over.

same here. No laws requiring it to be hidden or locked. Don't even need a CCW to carry a loaded pistol sitting on the passenger seat.

Under my seat, its too big to carry concealed anywhere else I can easily reach it. I need a smaller gun.

when i took out the factory in dash 6-cd changer and put an alpine mp3 HU in it went from 2 din to single din.

above the alpine, i just put a blank. maybe i should put a pocket there and keep the gun in there.

Wow, what state are you in? Even in Texas with a concealed license we have to have the gun concealed or covered in our car if I am not mistaken.

As long as it's holstered, it can be anywhere but on the dash in AZ.

Florida ftw. :) just has to be in a snapped holster, in the glovebox, in a zippered bag or in a box requiring a lid to be removed.. (that's the law if u donit have a CCW)

I don't keep guns in the car. If it gets broken into thats the first thing stolen.

On me. Or in the lock box under the seat if I'm somewhere that doesn't allow carry...

mine stays in a "hidden" console under the main console by itself on a towel to keep it from bouncing. in sc we have to have it in a glove box, locked trunk, or in a console for it to be legal.

I'm getting ready to do a holster that secures on the left-hand side of the driver's seat.. near the floor on the seat support.

I'm a southpaw & it's about the only place it can go in mine ('01 Ford Ranger).

I wouldn't put a gun on the passenger seat while driving, not because I might freak out a cop, but becasue I don't want a loaded handgun sitting loose on a seat, what happens if you have to slam on the breaks and the thing goes flying forward? Even if it's not in condition 1 and a round wasn't chambered, I still wouldn't do it.
