i used to have the NTLDR or whatever problem...this is something liek it.

when i turn on my pc, it doesnt even boot up all the way to windows, it stops before that and i see little colors randomly on the screen. ive tried booting to winxp disc to reformat somehow, but that doesnt even work, it wont boot to the disc even if i have the bios set to load cd drive first.

anybody got any advice? ive had problems like this before, but ended up having to reformat, but i cant even do that now.

could this be a hardware problem? maybe my harddrive is fuct?

maybe try to reset the cmos by unplugging/plugging the battery on the motherboard. What was the last thing you changed on the computer before this? New hardware?
