Hey Im looking to upgrade my old computer for my younger brother, I bought it in 96' its is running on windows 95, 128MB RAM, 20GB(I think), crappy videop and sound cards. Im looking to upgrade the harddrive and sound and video card so that he can play games on it (not halo, need for speed) that are for little kids so it has to have 40 or more GB, running windows 98, Id rather it have XP and a decent sound and video card. Anyone know what I should do, is it worth upgrading and would I be able to upgrade a few things or do I have to do everything?? BTW its a IBM Aptiva with a pentium (1).

a pentium 1 would have trouble running 98 smoothly. you're not going to be able to get games running on it. i doubt it has an agp slot so you couldn't get a good video card. you're best bet is to get some cheap pc online.
