Whenever I listen to music(mp3s) off the computer it's pretty choppy, this just started a week ago or so, and I didn't change anything to make it happen. It gets worse when an application is working the computer harder, then it practically cuts right out and I get little blips of noise until the computer stops working so hard.

I have tested the speakers on a discman to make sure it wasn't just the speakers, they're fine. I've switched around with mp3 players, windows media, winamp, realplayer, and it still happens on all of them.

I can't listen to this choppy music, it's soo annoying, can anyone help?

Download the newest drivers for your sound card. Go to the manufacturer of your computer's website and look around for drivers.

    Restart your computer.
Could be something running in the background.
Just for grins do a spyware and virus scan, in SafeMode, follow that up with ScanDisk and Defrag also in SafeMode.
