I'm running XP Pro with a 2.0 Gig P4, 1 gb of ram, etc etc. Over the weekend for some odd reason when ever I open my hotmail and start deleting junk mail my computer does a reset at random. Upon restart it gives me an error message concerning a device driver. I have not installed anything new and have no damn clue what is going on. I've done all the windows updates, anit-virus scan, scan disk, and everything that norton system works has to offer. Any ideas? It only happens when I use my hotmail but so far hs not happened when my wife uses her account. Any help would be great.

    Thanks

  2. does it tell you its shutting down, or simply reboot?

either way, you may have win32 blaster ... look for specific removal steps on the symantec site ...
