Computer makes a siren-like sound. Any ideas?

    Any idea why my shit does that and what needs to be replaced to fix it?

    or you could just open the psu and replace the fan for $10 :p

    but I've never heard a desktop sound an alarm for a failed psu fan -- only rackmounts.

    yeah, that should be the problem.
    mine does that too if the temperature of the processor is over 75°C.

    you should check the temperatures in the bios.
