    I have the following:

    1.3Ghz processor
    192MB Ram memory
    80GS HD w/7200RPM and 8MB cache
    16MB video memory?
    etc

Whenever I play need for speed hot pursuit II, the computer lags. The picture does not go smoothly at all. the fps is pretty weak. When I upgraded my HD to the 7200RPM HD, it was a bit better, but still not smooth. What can I do to make it smoother?

    Graphic accelerator?
more Ram memory (possibly 256MB more)?

    help! :wtc:

sounds like your video card is holding you back.

  3. What kind of video card do you have or is it onboard?

i'm not even sure what video card i have. It has the original card. lol. So is it RAM or the video card?

  7. I would recommend getting at least one 128Mb stick of RAM and a graphics card with at least 128Mb onboard RAM

16megs of video ram isn't going to cut it either

AIDA32 - Personal System Information get this and run it and it'll tell you everything you need to know about your system.
It sounds like an on-board video card, maybe a SiS Pro Savage S3 which suck to high heaven.

16mb of video sounds like an onboard graphics card, shared mem from system ram. Thats a piece of shit. Buy a new graphics card

If its not an onboard card, 16mb signifies its still too old/slow to cope with todays games. Buy a new card
