I have a problem with my desktop computer that I cant seem to figure out. I installed Nero and Roxio and restarted my computer. When it came back up it only gave me the option to run in safe mode, safe mode networking, etc. I ran it in safe mode and changed the last known good config. It worked , but then I installed roxio again and its doing the samething as it did before were its only letting me go into safe mode and I cant change the last know good config. Help!

I was told to hit "boot options" boot last good configuration...

are these software, including OS, pirated?
do you have anti-v or other shit?

norton for example has this feature of only letting you boot to safe mode if it detects malware.

what is your OS? nero and roxio has issues with vista.

    msdos.exe is a virus.
msdos.sys has the bootsafe thing, but those are for MS-DOS and Win9X.

If you have nero you do not need roxio. I had bad issues with roxio easy cd creator and ditched it. No problems since then. My advice, ditch roxio.
