Here's my problem: my computer freezes when there is any topic that has lots of images in it (mainly about 10-15+). It happens in IE more than FF but it still happens in FF.

This does NOT happen on my laptop. No matter how many images are posted, my laptop does not freeze...only my PC.

Is there any way to fix this? :o

Well, my laptop has 512mb but my PC has a gig. Is RAM still the answer?

When was the last time you defragged or reformatted? My main computer starts getting rather sluggish after a couple weeks of heavy use and I have to defragg it. After a few months I have to reformat because I have so many dead files and temp files and all kinds of shit everywhere that my programs won't clean up. Maybe a fresh install would help.

I did a fresh install (reformat) about a month ago. Still happened after the reformat

I'll try defragging and let you know. :)

Defrag did not work. Still freezing.

I'm going to try the RAM answer and see if it fixes it =)

The RAM answer won't fix your issue, it will only help to identify if that's the cause. If it is, you will need to RMA the RAM if the memory is under warranty, or buy new RAM if that's not possible.

Try memtest 86+, let it run overnight.

    Also run this,
    http://www.ccleaner.com/

Make sure you have all of your passwords saved first, it will clean everything.
