I am currently building a new computer and i've run into a few problems and I was hoping someone could help

I connected everything and double checked my work, but when I went to power up everything booted up fine, fans were running, CPU wasnt overheating, so I entered the BIOS and switched to boot from CD so I could format my HD and what not from the Windows XP CD. Now heres where I ran into trouble. After I saved my changes and exited the BIOS the monitor went dead then the computer just shut down after about 20 seconds and I cannot turn it back on (Power Switch just wont work)

I think the CPU is fine, wasnt hot at all. and I dont think I fried the MB as when I still get the Green power LED and my case LED so does anyone have any suggestions?>

you could try resetting the bios with the reset jumper to see if that fixes it.
