Is there a way I can hook my PS2 up to a monitor and my computer speakers? I want to play it while sitting at my computer during down times basically.

You would need a piece of hardware with audio/video in jacks.

I don't have a PS2 and I'm not familiar with the connections/cables, but I used to play NES/SNES hooked up to a VCR hooked up to my TV tuner card.

    HTH.

Hmm, looks like I have to start looking at TV Tuner Cards.

Check out eBay...I have a small converter box (with remote!) that has audio in/outs, and composite, component, and coax inputs. I can watch TV and/or play PS2 on my 21" monitor...it also has picture in picture. It was ~$60, but there were more polished versions for a little more money...in retrospect, I would have sprung for a more expensive one seeing as how all of the menus are in Engrish and the controls are really weird. It was still a good purchase though.
