Anyone know of a good hardware diagnostic tool for an AMD system? I don't even know where to start workin on this rig with all the different issues it has. Preferrably a free one?

    Thanks!

What, exactly, are you looking for? Give an example program.

Basically, I'd like something like the Daig tool that comes with a Dell. Something to test the video card, processor, RAM, BIOS, mobo, etc.

Other than that, the motherboard manufacturers tend to offer utilities like that as well.

Oddly enough, Asus (usually awesome) didn't provide any programs of any use. Just some basic harware spec display tools, nothing to really test different components.

    /trying Ultimate Boot CD

If you really want to put the rig through some tests, find one of the 3DMark programs.

Anyone of them will give you something to compare your build to, but it will be most relevant if you use 05 or 06.
