    I am thinking about buying a component system for my car. (93 Accord w/ Acura CL cd player) My questions are;
    1. Do I need an amp to use a component system?
    2. If an amp is not required will the system sound good with the stock deck?
    I don't know much about this kind of thing so any help will be appreciated. TIA.

    amp is not a bad idea since you only have the stock deck now would be a good time to replace that as well makes things simpler in the end also kick panels are a good idea i fyou want to get your moneys worth out of the componets

    1. You Dont have to have one
    2. It will sound fine at lower volumes, but if you turn it up, don't expect to be very impressed.
