Complete newb...

    hey..Im more or less a troll I basically read threads...but I have a question for OT. I am 16 and looking to start working out a bit more. I am currently weak as hell and need a hobby..so I figured why not do something healthy for once. Anyone have thoughts on a good set to buy / excercise techniques / food to go along with staying in shape, etc? By the way - im more looking to strengthen and tone my upper body, I play soccer so Im good with the legs for now. (Yes I am reading the stickies now as well....but can anyone give me good nutrition help?)

    Your legs suck, train them. I don't care if you play soccer or not.

    Clean your diet up too.

    Yea but I do not know what to eat...I dont know anyone into fitness so I am turning to OT for some guidance here. I dont put on weight easily, so I can pretty much eat whatever is necessary heh

    Anything that has sugar stop eating it. Soda = No. Drink water.
    There.. cleaned your diet up some.

    Like he said.. work your legs.
    You may just improve your game.

    Work out, take a multi vitamin, eat lots of fish, egg whites, & lean meats for protien.

    Read the stickies.

    I noticed a regular at my gym NEVER training legs. This didn't make sense to me because he was trying to be a cyclist at the time. He said " I get plenty of leg workouts running and biking". Wrong. I also heard him say "I'd sell a testicle to be just a little faster". Well douche bag, just think if you worked legs. You might gain enough power to be just one gear higher and it feel the same as the last gear used to. How much faster is that? Now think if you got hella strong, and could be 3 gears difference. You'd fucking win. I gave him a little leg training guidance, but the next day all I saw him do was leg extentions. I haven't spoken to him since and he stopped working legs.
    See the point?

    I think workin legs are one of the most important things if you wanna gain muscle mass and overall size. i hate toothpick legs.. they suck

    properly getting in shape is more of a lifestyle change than a hobby.
