What holsters and mag holders and belts do you guys use and whatever else
CR Speed belt and mag carriers, and my own combination of cr speed vera hanger and ghost holster block for a holster. aka versa ghost
I have a CR speed belt and CR mag pouches too. There is some new belt that people like, I don't remember the name, but AB has one.
Right now I"m using a Bladetech DOH and two Dual bladetech mag pouches w/ Teklok on a Wilderness CSM belt.
I'm thinking going going to a CR speed belt but keeping the holsters to stay legal in production.
For IDPA the same bladetech holsters but remove the DOH attachment.
We should ask too... what type of competition shooting? IDPA and USPSA have different gear requirements.
I run CR speed belts and mag hoslters. For production, I run a Bladetech holster. For L/L10, a Ghost.
Yeah, I have like 5 rigs depending on what I'm playing, shooting.
USPSA Open Division: High Torque Deluxe belt, CR Speed World Shoot 2 holster, CR speed Pouches.
USPSA Limited Divsion Glock: Ghost Holster, CR Speed Belt and Pouches
USPSA L10 Division: CR Speed Belt, Pouch and Holster.
IDPA CDP Division: Uncle Mikes Paddle, Blade Tech dual pouch and 5.11 double stich belt.
Dude, what went down at Space City?
Any pics/vid from the event?
I have to leave to for work rite now, and it's a good read so I'll hit you up tonight when I get back in. Couple of stories from SSC, my vids are up on my Youtube account.
Yeah, you heard it, I left MS and am taking ownership of the family Import Business. I'm trying to get an FFL and do something with Shooting. More to come. So yeah, been pretty busy.
I use a Double Alpha belt and a TKW holster.
I'm currently using TKW mag pouches, but I will be replace the first two with either CR Speed or Double Alpha pouches. I think the extra "stand off" the race pouches have will be a plus while reloading. Currently I occasionally catch my shirt as I am drawing the mag which isn't really conducive to a fast reload.
Oh snap. You sound as busy as me. I've been seriously thinking about getting an FFL too, as I've got pretty much full access to a machine shop, plus some start up capital. There's a lot of stuff I wanna make happen over the summer.
No problem waiting, and good luck to you bro.
yeah very glad to see you back here AB
You should move out here and then get a FFL and start a machine shop.
It's been pondered (at least the move to WA) more than once.
I'm a pretty simple guy, and pretty much make life decisions based on bolstering $$ + happiness (which generally go hand and hand for me). I still gotta finish up school, then I'm off to whoever pays the best and promises me the most.
I'd still like to check out WA sometime. Maybe someitme this summer I might find myself up your way.
You should. I'm much more agreeable IRL than I am on the internet.
