I'm weighing in tonight I'll probably be around 187-190

    Last year I was 180 on 1ad (10lbs heavier than usual) and benched 285 and DL'd 365

This year I'm hoping for 295 or 305 and around 400 for dl. Last yr i was at the top of my class and placed halfway thru if I'd gone up to 181-200 I'd have placed third lol, I was kicking myself. But it was OK the guy I'd trained for about a year was in that class and took third so I was happy to see him get a medal.

I'm by no means a powerlifter, I train in a bodybuilding style so this is just something fun that comes up once a year.

so you only want a 10-20 pound increase in bench and a 35 pound increase in deadlift in a year while weighing in at 10 pounds heavier? :ugh:

So let me get this straight. You were 10 lbs heavier than normal at the comp last year, which puts you at a normal weight of 170. Now that you are 15-20 lbs heavier a year later, you want to increase your bench by 10-20 lbs and your deadlift by 35.

I dont care what kind of style you train, that's progress baby

    1ad huh?

personally i dont have a problem with people who do that stuff for their own personal gains but when you're competing its kinda fucked up for everyone else that doesnt do it

just my opinion, dont mind me :hs:

alot of guys in this comp were juicing, straight up.

Unfortunately for them the strength was there but not the form and over 75% of them scratched one or all of their attempts.
