DEI bought Polk, not BA. BA is now owned by D&M Holdings who also owns McIntosh, Marantz, and Denon. Martin Logan was recently aquired by Shoreview Industries who also own Paradigm, and Klipsch just purchased API who manuacture Mirage, Athena, and Energy.

The amount of consolidation going in in the industry is intense.

BA's home stuff is well engineered, but needs better industrial design. Actually, their subs are garbage.

    :ugh:
Well their newer stuff I can't vouch for. I swear by my 12.5LFs as some of the best SQ subs ever made. Am I wrong? :coolugh: I very rarely hear anything that beats em, at any price - even from home gear. They're not without fault, but my 6.5 component sets are spectacular too. :dunno:
