So I finally got a holster for my p226 and the thing is bulky. I think in the near future I want something a little more discreet. Recommendations?:wavey:

I've carried my brother's 442 and my buddy has the 642, completely disappears in your pocket. I've been hoping to find a good deal on a used one but I don't think they get sold very often so I've resigned myself to just buying a new one.

What holster and belt are you sporting? The 226 is a bit big but with good gear you should probably be able to hide it.

yeah, me too. but your requirements shouldn't be driven on how it looks. I LOVE my J frame snubby. It's the most comfortable firearm to CCW and is dead nuts reliable.

form over function, I've CCW'd plenty and plenty of guns in over 10 years of CCW. Trust me, I had that same mindset as you when I was young, until I gave it a try. When you figure out the beauty of it's function, it'll look beautiful to you.

I've fallen asleep on my couch and have forgotten I had it on.

M&P compact. P229 is still too bulky. Its too thick and too heavy.
