I've been wearing mine for four days 9+ hours a day. I love this thing. Great retention, easy one handed reholstering, comfortable, tucks my XD in nice and close. Guess one couldn't ask for much more in a holster. :bigthumb:

comp-tac makes the best in kydex imo, less tahn 1 week turnaround, Ive had a blade-tech and comp-tac and the quality of the blade-tech is not even as close as the comp-tac

Blah Blah Blah you keep saying that but have yet to provide reasons other than "I don't like how this mounts" guess what, You can change it! It's made to be changed! Except the paddle :mamoru:

It's very comfortable to sit with it on. I wear it just a hair past 3 o'clock. I imagine like anything else it would differ from person to person. The comfort level of my chair starts to bug me well ahead of the holster being bothersome.

So the standard clips will work fine? I don't need to get a J-clip or C-clip?

I had the j-clips and I ended up hating them. they don't use the belt, they use the pants to hold up the gun, so you get major sag. The standard clips are tough and you don't notice them when you're tucking.

Yea, fuck those other clips. They don't work for shit, my belt kept falling out of them. Standard clips are perfect, and like he said, on a black belt when tucked in, you can't even really notice them.

Best place to order one from? Is it online only, or do some shops carry them?

my p226 is more comfortable for longer periods of time with the vm2 - i daily carry my glock 27 with the CTAC holster, but milt sparks leather is definitely more comfortable (carried the p226 for a few months before getting the glock) - the p226 is just too big for me to carry daily - especially in an arizona summer - anytime i move the handle gets caught on my clothes and it prints too much when sitting or with movement - with the glock, people who know i carry say they can't ever tell anymore

CTAC is easily the most comfortabel kydex holster i've used, but if they made a vm2 for my glock 27, i'd pick one up over the CTAC

Call and ask to be sure, but a holster for a 22 or 23 should fit the 27 as long as the little room left over at the muzzle won't drive you nuts.

if the butt is sticking out enough to catch on your clothing, the holster isn't pulling the butt in tight to your body. I have to move my CTAC up more towards 12 o clock to stop that from happening. I ordered an Alessi PCH to hopefully stop that from happening at all. (7 months and counting :wtc:)

its only on the sig and has nothing to do with positioning - i've tried carrying it from mexican style to the center of my back and everything in between - i guess part of it is probably my figure, but it prints like a bitch - also the magazines get caught at the little foot on the bottom and it also catches on the cocker/decocker - the sig seems to have a lot more rough surfaces that are easier to get clothing caught on

the ctac i adjusted forward so the barrell is pointing slightly behind my feet when the gun is on my side - vm2 is still more comfortable, the glock 27 is just a lot easier to carry

soybomb, i'll look into the vm2 for the glock - i usually go with top gun supply (thats where i got the vm2 for the sig) and they don't have any listings for subcompacts that i saw

i also feel like i can draw quicker out of the vm2 since the CTAC snaps the gun in a little bit
