    i need some help :wtc:

    i have two computers.

    one WITH wireless capability.
    one WITHOUT wireless capability.

i have one printer that i want to connect to both computers.

both computers only have USB (no serial or parallel ports).

i want to connect BOTH computers to the ONE printer without having to switch cords whenever i want to print.

do they make usb cords that have one end that goes into the printer and then the cord SPLITS and has two outs?

    any other solutions? :dunno:

are both computers on the same network?

if so you could just plug the printer into one computer then share it over the network. It's incredibly easy to do in windows and the other computer will automatically download the drivers and install it.

is that what you need to be done?

edit: if they aren't on the same network just two random computers you could get some sort of usb kvm switch. It would almost be cheaper the buy a router and just plug the two computers into it to create a network though. KVM switches / print servers are kinda overpriced.

You can share it over a network, get a switch box, get a printer server...

    There are many solutions...
