OT, I'm having a little problem here. I'm running WindowsXP SP2 and it's failing to boot properly. All it does is go to the HP screen when I first hit the power button, then the screen changes to a small, blinking underscore.

A few seconds later, there's a screen that says something about Windows not being restarted properly. It gives 'Safe Mode' choices, a last good configuration choice and 'Start Windows normally' choice. I've tried each and every one of the choices, and none of them work.

They just end up going to the boot up 'Windows XP' screen, then the system reboots itself. I've tried doing a system restore by pressing F10 at boot, but it does the same thing. Any idea how I can go about fixing all this? There isn't any important information on the hard drive, but, unfortunately, wiping the HD isn't exactly a choice for me.
    All help is greatly appreciated.

    Thanks
    :sadwavey:
