    It's inert, non-degrading, uv-filtering, acid free, stiffer, less porous, and ultra-clear. And expensive.

    Also, more heat resistant and waterproof.

    I'd get some nice acid-free boards. Depending on how well you keep them, you probably can get the medium to thinner ones (cheaper).

    most comics boards i've come across are acid-free. i just get them at the shop, but they have decent deals on the 24mil halfbacks.
