Can someone explain the X-Men universe? There are like eight billion volumes. I'd like to start up reading it again, but not sure the best way to tackle it.

Should categorize it into superhero books, and then from then on, maybe the type of story told?

I know everyone hates Onslaught/Clone Saga, but I never read them so I thought nothing of it.

So the owner of my LCBS just sold his shop (to one of his customers, a cool dude so I'm not too worried) but he sent me an email with this. 1 week sale notification.

    50% off trades
60% off independent trades and books.
    1 dollar back issues.
All action figures are $6 or under
    and the special for you....
Come in and clear out your subscriber box (That means buy the whole lot) this week and the sale week you will receive 50% off of your new releases.
    Your welcome.

I'm guessing the sale will be next week, so what TPB should I be getting! I'm up on a lot of new shit, but what kind of classic books should I roll in and grab? And indie shit (wonder if image/dark horse would be considered indie), ideas!
