With all the new movies coming out I was wondering what everyone was excited to see and why. Remember there is soooo many coming out with in the next two years.
Mine= FF2,the watchers, Dark Knight, Iron Man, and Sin City2.

I hope the new FF is darker and alot more focused. The watchers would be awesome to see especialy since its like an anti-super hero story.

    What's the watchers about?

It's already getting more curious interest over the other movies. :o

    EDIT:THE WATCHMEN
The watchmen is a graphic novel writen by Alan Moore (V for Vandeta/Swampthing). Its about the old days of caped heros and how they impacted a paradime shift in society and the way people viewed heros. One of those "they are getting to big for their own good" and "who keeps the heros in check". It is a really really good read, Its the way I wish Civ War would of been writen.

the watchmen should be decent, if they could only get alan moore to come on and do it right...which will 100% NEVER happen :(

i'm looking forward to the dark knight, FF4-2, and most definatly sin city 2 :coold:

It may since it's director is the same man who did 300. Zack Snyder has already said that he means to stay as close to the original work as humanly possible, and with a track record like 300, he may just pull it off.

Then again, as critical as moore is, he may still find something at fault with the movie where no one else could.

It would take me too long to tell you just how horrid I think the v for vendetta movie was. Just know that most fans of the orignal work hated the movie and think the Wachowski Brothers should /themselves.

The Watchmen is a great story and I am very afraid of it getting butchered but if Zack Snyder is on it and really works with Moore on it it will be kick ass especialy sice Snyder is not afraid to show gallons of blood. Sin City2 is probably going to be the better movie of the list coming out I personaly think. While FF2RSS looks promising I still can't get past the cheese factor of the first one.

Someone asked Moore how you would make a Watchmen movie.

    His reply: "Don't"

Moore's main problem is that there is a director involved. The solution to that problem is to not do a movie.

Moore believes that the story should stay within its intended medium. He'll never want any of his stories to be translated to film.

So long as you don't try to make it too realistic, or too cartoony, it could be good. That, and it'd need a decent budget.

    Zack Snyder is a fucktard...
300 didnt really need a good director, just a guy willing to show a good fight (and if you picked up 300 as a project and arent interested in violence then thats not really going to work)

Every interview i've read, or seen on tv, he goes on about his willingness to show gore, and rambles on like a prat.
He thinks he's the anti-studio messiah, when really hes just a cock with the mindset of a 14 year old.

He's not the man for watchmen
