I'm thinking about carrying my XD, any recommendations for an IWB holster? I never carried before so I don't really know what to look for.

I like my Kholster for my XD45. Ugly, but functions perfectly, and the guy has great customer service. Find the position that works for you, then trim off all the excess leather. Lots of guys on our local forum love theirs as well.

Any problems carrying a service size XD? I'm not big (6ft, 190lbs). You guys carry extra magazines?

Though my normal carry gun is an XD40SC, I have a shroud that lets me carry my G17 too. I am 5'11 and 185 and I can cc the g17 with a 33rnd mag. I just cant bend over. :mamoru:

I sold my CTAC for a Threat Solutions UCR, by far the most comfortable holster I have worn. Not the best looking, but who cares!

Crossbreed Supertuck Deluxe or the Mini Tuck.

    That is all.

These are both leather-backed, right? Does sweat seep through? I like my current leather-backed/kydex holster, but now (as the weather heats up) I'm looking for something that won't allow sweat to make it directly through the holster backing against my skin.

I wouldn't know, I tuck a white shirt in between it and my skin.

    .

I always wear a white tshirt tucked under the holster and then whatever normal shirt untucked over the holster. Even in Texas, I'm more comfortable wearing like this rather than having leather right up against my side/hip.

The leather doesn't bother me at all, I don't even notice it on my skin. I can't stand wearing an undershirt thought, unless it's winter.
