As some of you know, I worked for Tactical Response for 7 years until I resigned in 2007. Earlier this year I started my own training company, Mindset Lab, to provide Force on Force training opportunities for gun owners.

If you are in the Midwest or just looking for a reason to road trip, check out my schedule and come train with me. I've booked several classes in Indianapolis for the first 5 months of 2010.

I guess I should spring for a sub so that I can change my avatar.

Come to the South, fool. I'd spend as much or more on gas than I would on the class. :mamoru:

Hmm I'm in Milwaukee. Prices seem reasonable. Not to be a dick, but can anyone on here vouch for this guy?

He's been on WMD for a while and I'm sure you can search some of his older post. I'd do it but I'm lazy. A number of people in WMD have taken courses with TR when Shay was with them.

while never having talked to him or taken one of his classes, i can recall seeing him post on here on tactical responses' behalf or on his own for many years.

    Way too far. :hs:

I was talking to John C. of LMS about two months ago about an FoF course in the southwest.

I really want to see this happen and can find people to take it.

    Make it happen.

I don't know him personally, but I know who Shay is - he's what he says and GTG.

I've eaten dinner with Shay, and despite being a vegetarian, he's a good guy. I'm pretty sure I acted like a dick the whole time.

I'm sorry, I just can't trust somebody who doesn't eat steaming bloody chunks of animal flesh.

I just found out Magpul Dynamics is coming to Chugiak in July. Any plans to come up to the end of the world, Shay?

Now, for the rest of the replies:

I don't plan on traveling much. That's one of the things that wore me down about Tactical Response was being gone teaching so often. I have a family and a day job. I have been asked to have classes in MI and OH so those will probably happen in 2010.

Also, I'm limited by the mountain of gear I bring to every class. It's not like live fire where I can show up with a teaching outline and a stack of certs. I couldn't fly with all the masks, guns, ammo, gloves, neck protectors, props, cleaning gear, teaching material...

My main training location is a 65,000 SqF warehouse. It makes an ideal space because it has office, industrial, warehouse and indoor and outdoor vehicle areas.

Thanks for all the well wishes. If anyone has any other training questions I'll do my best to answer them.
