This is one of those “dual-use” items you love to have with you when you visit restrictive “Non-Permissive Environments” but must still have an item that can be used as a weapon.? Constructed of 7075-T6 aluminum with a charcoal gray hard coat anodized finish. Has a fluted barrel and ported muzzle. It is comfortable in the hand and unnoticed in your shirt or jacket pocket. I have carried this into places even Guns & Ammo magazine would be given a second look! It is in fact, a pen, and cannot be regulated…but it can also do some serious damage when used correctly.

Now don't order this if you want a pen that you can write hemingway-esque lovew letters with, or put down an impressive John Hancock with. IT IS NOT FOR THAT.

Greg Lightfoot set out to create a strong, reliable, discreet and light-weight writing instrument. The embodiment of his vision is the LCP Lightfoot Combat Pen™. Made of strong lightweight aircraft aluminum with a fluted "barrel" and "ported" muzzle. This is a must have accessory for all personnel frequenting dangerous non-permissive environments who demand the highest performance in gear that they must rely on.

    Designer: Greg Lightfoot
    Material: 7075 - T6 aluminum
    Length: 6.00" (154 mm)
    Finish: hard coat anodize
    Barrel Diameter: .50" (13 mm)
    Color: Charcoal
    Weight: 2.20 ounces (.06 kgs.)

While a very cool pen, it looks too much like a weapon. If you get shaken down it will get taken from you. Pens are regarded as weapons in many places. Often times when I go to a concert/show they make you toss any pens/pencils you have in your pocket. My guess if you threw that in the box when you go through the metal detector at a court house or airport they will take it from you.

Any place you can get away with carrying that pen you can get away with carrying a knife. The cold steel marker (sharkie) is at least a little more descreet. My choice when I can't carry a gun or a knife is a combat flashlight like a surefire.

Sure, if it shot a projectile...

It's not a pen gun or something similar...if it was an AOW then batons and knives would be too :dunno:

Ah, I read fluted barrel and ported muzzle and assumed it was a pen gun of some sort.
