I am really fond of my gold cup. Its smooth and accurate. I have owned alot of .45 and I like it better than a Kimbler. I have shot a HK before but not enough to really compare. the range where I shoot rents guns and will most often loan me a gun to shoot if i am thinking of buying. See if there is something like that around you.

I have a H&K .45 and two .45 1911's. I like the accuracy and the takedown better on the H&K.

    HK is a combat gun
Gold cup is more of a target model.

They really aren't built the same way. Combat guns usually aren't *as* accurate ( not saying they aren't at all ) but tend to be less finicky. My USP is more accurate than I am and will run all day on Wolf.
