I am sorry but their son was a retard

...and he has some nice friends to make sure he got home safely after he was "in no condition to notice the difference after an evening of drinking". Prosecuting the homeowner makes about as much sense as prosecuting the friends for criminal negligence.

Yeah, I usually like to ignore the breaking windows and wait for my door to be kicked in before I feel endangered.

You mean to tell me the cops were not there within 15 seconds and someone had to take their own protection into their own hands? Thats crazy talk.

Definately legal under CO law. The assumption is that you are in danger. Sorry dumbass drunk bitch.

And theres no legal requirement for a warning lolz

Why wouldn't he just knock at the front door?

Zero pity. I've been drunk as fuck and never broken into somebody else's house. And really, what was going through that guy's mind is irrelevant. The resident had reasonable cause to believe he was in danger. End of story.

If he thought he lived there, why break a window?

My parents would have beaten the shit out of me if I did that. :nono:

I'd say drinking and darwin figured this one out.

Buddy did something similar in college:

Got drunk, went to the wrong girl's dorm room, and got naked in her bed waiting for her.

He ended up passed out and was awoken when the girl punched him in the nuts. He said it was pretty disorienting to wake up drunk and naked in a foreign room with some girl wailing on your junk

Is CO's Castle Doctrine really known as the "make my day law" or is the reporter sensationalizing?
