I'm going to be graduating with a B.A. in December, not sure what I am going to do yet. I'm wondering what the most sensible path is for a college graduate to become an officer?

I am interested in the photography MOS' (Combat Camera? I've heard it's impossible to get into though...)

My main motivation is: to serve the country as some of my family members have, and also to take advantage of the GI Bill to pay for graduate school. From what I understand, you can use the GI Bill after you are discharged to pay for school up to 10 years after discharge? I assume this is uniform, from undergrad to doctoral programs?

Thanks for the info ahead of time. :wavey:

Roger, it's part of the new GI bill. Full benefits after 4 years of service.

I believe you can get a combat camera unit/element as an officer if you branch signal corps. But that's only if you get stationed at the right place and the Army has a need for you there. Other than that, you would likely never see that position. Even if you got into a combat camera unit, you'd likely never take photos or anything as an officer.
