Well i like to wear a blazer/coat when i go out but after the night ends the blazer usually ends up smelling like cigs/beer/nitelife. Whats some way to get rid of the smell so i can wear the next day for dinner to say.

Thanks for being an idiot

So far, dry cleaning has been the only way I have found to get out the smell/funk of a night around cigarettes and alcohol. I'm kind of interested to see if there is a quick and easy way of doing this also

I'm so happy that I finished reading the thread before I posted. :mamoru: My initial response was: "...have you never heard of a dry cleaner?"

    ;)

if I can't get the cleaning done the same day, then what I do is spritz a tad of cologne on it, put it on a hanger, and hang it outside for an hour or so...out a window, on a porch, backyard, whatever...

it usually helps...unless you live in NYC where chances are you'll never see that blazer again after a bum climbs your wall to steal your jacket...

Febreeeze? Anyone try that? Quick Fix!

...or Downey Wrinkle Releaser, because it has a nice 'just cleaned' smell.

Febreeze works wonders. I work in a theater with sweaty dancers and actors, and we go through about a quart of Febreeze each night on the costumes. With that said, there is no substitute for a good dry cleaning. :bigthumb:
