CNN reported a C-17 crash in texas this afternoon. Anyway there was a total freakout in the squadron/ ops group this afternoon. We had no info of any problems however there were two crews (from charleston) out that way this afternoon. Turns out it was an Altus AFB trainer doing a low level, and someone saw it go over a hill or something (i'm guessing) and called the local police and reported the crash. "A spokesperson from Sheppard AFB initially confirmed the crash (later retracted) which caused more panic. CNN later retracted the claim as you can read in the link. http://www.cnn.com/2009/US/03/23/texas.plane/index.html

of course they are, but your post suggests that the air force can't double check their facts when it comes to a plane crash on US soil.

    Oh Hiya!

And your posts have always shown you swing far left and aren't too friendly with the military.

So again, why are you in this subforum?

Here is where I courageously offer my condolences to a man who is frustrated he has not yet engaged the enemy on the battle field

    :bowrofl:

Nice shot, but you're firing in the wrong direction. I don't consider you an enemy. Not even close. I don't care if you're liberal or conservative. I don't care if you like pussy or penis. I don't even care if you're American or Iranian. But I do care that you follow the rules of the forum you post in.

What? I didn't say anything about me being your enemy. My post was about RoblesGT not shooting any "insurgents" during his first 2 weeks in Iraq.
