    But hopefully someone will now buy my spare M1D stuff.

    The M1C and M1D aren't really "sniper" weapons, true. They're more like Russian-style sniper rifles, which lines up with the Designated Marksman role in the US military.

    The reference for "sniper" wasn't the same in the US Army then as it is now. The Marines and the M1941 on the other hand....that's a little different.

    But i'll be looking forward to ammo, and might get a bayonet or two, depending on which models they have available.
