If im mailing something to an APO address do i just use reg. stamps?

What about packages? Take it to the base USPS? do they give you a discount?

Also how long does it usally talk for things to get half way around the world?

Mailing something to an APO address costs the same as mailing something anywhere in the US. A letter just requires one stamp and a package will go by weight. Depending on where you are mailing, allow about a week for it to arrive.

Edit: There is no discount, although some places will give you packing material for free.

Depending on the theater the person is stationed in, your mail will go to NY or SF, and you'll pay for the shipping to those places.

    Regular stamps.

No discounts. There are programs available for free shipping supplies if you are sending packages overseas. I posted a link a while ago. Do a quick search for it.

Anywhere from 10 to 30 days depending on location of the delivery address. Once it is sorted at the APO, it's anyones guess.

10 to 30 days or more at times. But I am speaking from a shipboard perspective.
