So I have regular jeans I get from BR. Then I have a button down shirt I usually wear for going out, and some nice $30 sketcher black loafers.

I want to have something a little more in style, like jeans with some patterns on the back pockets (I don't want to have bedazzle crap on them). Maybe a nice button down with some of that stencil work type thing, and then some nice shoes, something with flat front if with an old leathered type look.

Any suggestions ? (Oh yeah, I'm 6'9'' so the shirts I wear are usually Large Tall size, not XL, and pants are 36x36, shoe size 14-15 :noes:)

Peacock, it means standing out in a crowd with your clothes or accessories. I think it's ridicules. Pulling off a nice outfit beats running around with some weird shit.
I guess he means tailored shirts because you are big and shirts can be hard to find.
    Things that would help:
    Budget
Picture or other example of someone who dress good

then stay away from clubs to begin with. then you wont have to dress like a douche. stop the problem before it starts.

seriously, everything about the clothes you mentioned in the OP is terrible. a white vneck (shallow v, not that plunging guido shit), some simple levi's 501's and some chucks/vans/CP's/sperrys/cap-toes/loafers/etc would be infinitely better than anything youre thinking of. add a decent watch and youre money.

this dude needs to get the basics down first.

would you rather look boring in a tee and jeans or look like a tool in jeans with tigers on the pockets and skulls and eagles on your button up?

sometimes i wear a tshrit with a graphic and a sports jacket, with fitted jeans and chucks. Some other times i dress up more with shirt, tie, vest, pants and chucks or sometimes shoes.

a well fit collared shirt with a simple pattern and a pair of dark or black denim is all you need.

shoes some round toe (is that the proper term?) maybe cap toe, or some sneakers that can be dressed up (common projects, purcells, etc etc)
