    ... sign in.

I'm a little late to the party, but wow. That movie was interesting. I didn't feel so bad for having a light, a knife, the P3AT in my boot and a Steyr IWB. :o

Love story? I didn't see some shitty love story. I saw a distinct lack of preparedness for impending doom!

I also reworked the armor setup and bugout gear. Zombie apocalypse, alien apocalypse.. it's all the same... and it's coming.

    :o

    Greek?

I've got a USGI SAPI plate in a RS Tactical plate carrier, plus the PASGT brainbucket.

    Nope. Gladius, yes. Armor, no.

The helmet will come from CTD soon, but it's for a Thermopylae display, not wear.

I knew that thought came from somewhere. Guess my mind did a little exaggeration.

I haven't seen the movie yet. Rent, download, or buy?

I'd say rent. And buy some anti nausea medicine. The camera is parkinsons meets blair witch.

I actually left the theater 30 minutes into watching Blair Witch. Motion sickness FTL. I did much better watching it at home on my smaller TV screen. :hs:

Beware then.. it's pretty rough. Story is good, short plot development, just enough depth of characters.. classic example of what NOT TO FUCKING DO in a societal breakdown scenario.

Soybomb *hmmm I wonder what this cloverfield movie is, its apparently making people think about being prepared for disasters, it must be good, lets go to netflix*

Netflix: A going-away party in Manhattan is interrupted when a mysterious, giant-sized monster launches an attack on New York City.

How is it different from Godzilla? And I know it probably doesn't have Jean Reno in it, so there's already a con.

Watch 'The Mist' too, if you're interested in seeing people that are totally not prepared for anything. The whole time I'm watching it, I'm going, 'Somebody's gotta have a gun up in this bitch.'

BTW, anyone know the laws on keeping a loaded truck/trunk gun? I'm thinking I'm gonna put an AR in my truck with a good supply of ammo. Just because.
