So I bought a new pair of shoes, new shirt and jeans.
Need input as well as anything else I should wear when I go out in order to attract nice specimens of the opposite sex. :o

Anybody recommend any types of accessories or cologne?

btw this is what I bought.

Go to a cologne counter and try stuff on yourself, some stuff smells really good in the bottle on its own, but once it mixes with your skin it doesn't smell so good.

A nice watch. Not sure why, but my husband has a really nice watch and when he has it on he's 'dressed up' :)

Yea, my dude will try on some that I think smell good out of the bottle, but then smell :barf: on him.
Whenever we go out he always wears a nice pair of dark jeans, light ones are more casual, nice shoes, and a button up shirt like the one you bought. He also just got sweaters to wear over the button ups, but that's not really bar wear. :dunno:

I have a white long sleeve undershirt which I'll wear aswell which should contrast the grey.

I was thinking of buying white dress shoes but everybody does that.

Those shoes are awful. Please go return them and get something better.

Shirt seems fine if it fits you fine (tucking or no tuck?)
Jeans seem okay as well. Not a fan of fake distressing/fading, but whatever...

    Cologne:

I use that 9 out of 10 times.

Staples for a guy's "hunting" wardrobe:

Pair of black and brown nice leather loafers/"dressy but not too dressy" shoes (The ones you have are hideous. They're like old sneakers posing as decent shoes, only they're not so they make you look like you shop at a flea market for shoes even though everyone knows they're probably way overpriced)

Several different button down shirts, different colors, stripes, etc. (I like the one you have)

A few dressy pairs of jeans (Again, nice choice)

    Casual khakis/chinos in several colors

A nice watch is a definite plus

Polo Black, Burberry Touch, and Sean John Unforgiveable colognes

A decent personality, sense of humor, and lots of condoms

I don't know why everyone is so hung up on his shoes. How many of you women actually look at a guys shoes when you go out??? How many can even SEE the shoes in a dark bar?

I def wouldn't care and even I at times don't match my shoes because nobody looks at them. I would often wear flip flops out in florida and nobody gave them a second glance.

Not to hijack the thread, but what do you guys think of these boots for going out in? They'd be worn with jeans.

I really like boots and I think this is a nice boot that doesn't look too much like work boots and not too fancy either.
