Had a pretty damn good DL workout this afternoon. Sets were: 135x6x2, 185x3, 205x3, 235x3, 255x1, 275x1, and 295x1. Probably could have gotten 300, but didn't want to risk injury. While doing 295, I felt the bar roll in my hand for the first time ever. I'm still using double overhand grip. I'm going for 300 in a couple weeks! I'm just happy that I can DL twice my bodyweight now! Bodyweight - 140.

Nice...I set a new PR today of 325x2. I need to strengthen my legs more because they're starting to limit me.

Awesome job dude! I would tell you a secret, if i put a tiny invisible 5lb plate on the bar you would havenever noticed it. I would be willing to bet there would be no difference for you ebtwen 295 and 300.

Thanks! I pulled 295 fairly easily, but I'm going slow and steady. Pretty sure I could have gotten 305, but my back was already feeling taxed. Started DLing in Feb. My posterior chain has gotten tons stronger. I might have to switch to the alternate grip at 300+. Yes, I do use chalk. Half the time, my callouses feel like they are going to rip off.

Thats cool. my DL sucks for my weight. I've never tried to max out though bc i dont wanna hurt my back. usually do about 4 sets. Last set is 425x6.
